Sleep related to medicine or diet is short term and dose related. It settles over few days if same dose is maintained If u notice sleep with any medicine, it means the medicine is a cooling agent for behaviour and movement. Sleep doesn't mean that medicine is addictive or habit forming . All sleep causing medicines are not same. All medicines causing sleep are not sleep medicines and they may not have been prescribed for sleep. If a doctor prescribes a medicine and if it causes sleep and you or school is uncomfortable with it the dose needs to be adjusted up or down to make the child comfortable just short of sleep.
