To reduce B, we must systematically strengthen A. This model shifts the focus from suppressing behaviors to developing foundational capacities. Step 1: When A is Weak, B Develops ...

Hindi definition of Autism to Diagnose it in 1 minute : Dr Kondekar SV Autism DR Mumbai

The idea that autistic children are “disconnected” or “dissociated” is a common perception—but modern research suggests a more accurate and compassionate understanding. Children with Autism spectrum disorder are not disconnected from the world; rather, they often experience and process it differently. Their attention, perception, sensory integration, and social communication patterns follow neurodevelopmental pathways that diverge from typical developmental trajectories. The goal, therefore, is not to “fix” disconnection but to build meaningful bridges that help them feel regulated, understood, and engaged. Rethinking “Disconnection” Autism is characterized by differences in social communication and patterns of restricted or repetitive behavior. However, these outward behaviors do not equate to emotional absence. Many autistic children deeply desire connection but struggle with interpreting facial expressions, tone of voice, body language, and shifting social expectations. ...

story Therapy: The way of Teaching language and concepts

*Teaching: An undeniable approach for parents* Dr Kondekar recommends tarbull kids story box available on Amazon . Call it audio mobile. . For speech and language development. _Teaching and educating a child during initial years of his/her life is essential but challenging too._ Parents often stand in a dilemma to choose *the best teaching method* for their child.  But what is the best method? 🤔 *Hear it out in doctor’s words* - Many parents show their children illustrations from the book📕 and ask them to identify the images represented in it.  For beginners, showing illustrations is a right approach but asking them to identify them on their own is not.❌ It is like you are taking your child’s exam before teaching him/her anything.  *Real teaching is when a child asks the question and parents answer.* *_Let child’s inquisitiveness rise._*🤓 Take examples from home, suppose an apple 🍎is kept on the table, tell your child this is an apple🍎 enriched with vitam...

Basic must advice to parents of autism kids about how learning is to be initiated and in what direction

Image
When we need to do correct, we need to stop doing wrong. When going ahead is our goal. Let’s not go behind. Whatever child used to do in past and has regresses, lets keep that as a goal to get back in 6 months and move ahead. Our kid has learning deficit. It’s not delay. Delays get catch up, deficits need double speed to overcome to an extent. In autism the social and cognitive development is slowed down to say 0.0005 x zoom. All developmental soft milestones which appear normally at an age and maturity wil seem to appear slowly, slower, later and develop over months than just 2 weeks in normal kids. Development Of social and cognitive milestones is important for learning. Our kid has learning deficit. Kid couldn’t learn like normal kids bcos child is not receptive for learning . Whatever child has learnt, had learnt in extremely slow speed with heavily repeated conditioning. Our aim is to help the kid learn on his own from environment. So, when learning is our motive, and we have seri...

Understanding the Speech Development Ladder Why Listening to New Stories Every Day Can Change Your Child’s Life Speech development in children is not simply about teaching them to say words. It is about building the brain’s ability to sense, listen, understand, and connect meaning to the world around them . The Speech Development Ladder – Dr Kondekar Model explains how communication develops step by step, beginning from sensory attention and progressing toward meaningful speech. At the heart of this model lies an important principle: Brain before body. Sense before action. Understanding before speech. And an equally powerful message for parents: “If you work on making your child listen to new stories every day, the life story of your child will start sooner.” This idea highlights the crucial role of daily auditory experience, imagination, and contextual understanding in shaping a child’s language and cognitive development. Why Listening Is the First Step Toward Speech Many parents wo...

Dr Kondekar for all post links click  https://speechandsenses.blogspot.com/p/httpsspeechandsenses.html Dr kondekar Listening to Speech is 18 months journey, Speech develops only by verbal listening. it doesn't develop by oral motor exercises if listening or understanding or receptive speech is poor. so first focus on listening and learning speech input before you work on output. 90% of your daily time with kid should be spent of language based listening in form of story composition and conversations to start spontaneus speech or relevant speech. Speech is not about reading ro talking, it's more about having depth of verbal understanding. working on only that will help.
